On-site supervision as well as management responsibilities included Design Management, Tender Management, review Execution plans (includes safety and risk assessment and mitigation actions) and on-site safety supervision. Also Matrix was responsible that communication was delivered to all stakeholders timely and accurately, required communications was documented and archived to the end of the project.

Through project implementation, Matrix’s team (10 engineers and safety supervisors) was committed to ExxonMobil safety standards and procedures in the project different phases. Also, the team was managed by 50% ladies one of whom was the project manager.

1•We team successfully achieved the pre-set project objectives, namely: zero incidents, zero injuries, managing the project time plan, and coordination with different stakeholders.

2•Different challenges were faced successfully, such as working for more than 12 hours shifts for 3 consecutive Ramadans

3•Working during Covid 19 lock down on night shifts which extended to 15 hours several times.

4•Coordination and interface management between different parties (Owner, consultant, contractor, others)

5•More than 7000 working hours

6•Reporting all incidents, near misses and contractor safety performance during the project on a weekly basis.
